Acertado pelo golpe de Inveja, Ed volta ao portão, mas Alphonse tem a intenção de fazer o que for preciso para mantê-lo vivo. Inveja abre o portão e pede para ser levado onde quer que o Hohenheim tenha ido. Graças à tentativa final de Alphonse, Ed retorna vivo ao seu corpo, mas ele próprio desaparece. Ed não se conforma e pede que Rose saia e leve Ira, pois ele irá fazer um último arranjo alquímico.
La batalla entre Mustang y Orgullo toma un giro sorprendente cuando llega ayuda de una fuente inesperada. Afuera del complejo, Hawkeye se encuentra contra Archer mientras ella y los Bradleys son llevados a Central.
