Who really knows why rivalries between sporting clubs begin? Sometimes itʼs war; sometimes itʼs a countryʼs politics that the other club doesnʼt like. But usually just plain old competitive spirit can be enough to fan the flames of antagonism between certain teams. The rivalry between Argentina and Brazil is a perfect example of this.
