Lucy entscheidet sich für den Miss Fairy Contest, um den 500.000 Juwelenpreis zu gewinnen, trotz harter Konkurrenz wie Mirajane und Cana. Allerdings geht der Wettbewerb schief, als Laxus mit seinen 3 Bodyguards, dem Raijinshū, eintrifft. Evergreen verwandelt alle Teilnehmer in Stein als Geisel für Laxus' Herausforderung: die Schlacht von Fairy Tail. Um die Teilnehmer zu retten, muss die gesamte Gilde Laxus und Raijinshū innerhalb von drei Stunden finden und besiegen. Fried hat jedoch überall in Magnolia Town Runen aufgestellt, die Fallen mit bestimmten Regeln schaffen, darunter eine, die Menschen über 80 daran hindert, das Zunfthaus zu passieren.
Short on money, Lucy decides to compete in the Miss Fairy Contest to win the 500 000 jewel prize, in spite of stiff competition including Mirajane and Cana. However, the contest goes awry when Laxus arrives with his 3 bodyguards, the Raijinshū. Evergreen turns the all the contestants into stone as hostage for Laxus's challenge: the Battle of Fairy Tail. To save the contestants, the entire guild must find Laxus and Raijinshū within three hours and defeat them. However, Fried has set up runes all over Magnolia Town creating traps with specified rules, including one that prevents people over 80 from passing has been set up around the guildhouse.

Durante il Festival del Raccolto Luxus e le sue personali guardie del corpo fanno ritorno in città e creano non poco scompiglio durante il concorso Miss Fairy Tail. Infatti Luxux è deciso a subentrare con la forza a capo della Gilda.
Con poco dinero, Lucy decide competir en el concurso de Miss Fairy Contest para ganar el premio de 500 000 joyas, a pesar de la dura competencia que incluye Mirajane y Cana. Sin embargo, el concurso sale mal cuando llega Laxus con sus 3 guardaespaldas, el Raijinshū. Evergreen convierte a todos los concursantes en piedra como rehenes para el desafío de Laxus: la Batalla de Fairy Tail. Para salvar a los concursantes, todo el gremio debe encontrar a Laxus y Raijinshū dentro de las tres horas y derrotarlos.
