Goku continues to fight Buu, and he seems to have the upper hand. He deals out a lot of damage to Buu, but as the fight goes on, his hits become weaker and weaker until they have no effect at all. He tells Vegeta that it's his turn, but Vegeta declines, citing that he is no match for Buu. He tells Goku that he's better than him. Goku says that he nees one minute to power up enough to destroy Buu. While Goku is powering up, Vegeta steps in, knowing that if he dies again, he will no longer exist in any form. Buu thrashes Vegeta, but every time he gets knocked down, he gets up, ready for more. Buu stretches out his arm, wraps it around Vegeta's neck, and begins choking him. It's been more than one minute, but Goku still has not generated enough power.
Son Goku commence à fléchir ! Pour lui permettre de se reposer et de reprendre des forces, Végéta se sacrifie et défie Boubou. Après avoir réfléchi, Son Goku décide de se transformer en super-super guerrier. Seulement pour cela, il a besoin de 60 secondes.
Nonostante Goku al terzo livello di Super Saiyan tenga testa al malvagio Kid Bu, quest'ultimo ha un'energia illimitata, mentre Goku a quello stadio ha già esaurito le forze. Così Vegeta si offre di prendere il suo posto per 60 secondi per lasciare che il suo rivale raccolga energia per distruggere il mostro definitivamente.

En Son Goku, que veu que no hi ha manera d'eliminar el monstre Bu, diu que necessita un minut per reunir l'energia necessària per deixar-li anar l'atac definitiu que acabaria amb ell. En Vegeta decideix enfrontar-se al monstre mentre en Son Goku es prepara per a l'atac, conscient que si torna a morir ja no podrà ressuscitar mai més.
