Taiki y los demás llegan a la tercera zona, la zona de magma donde ven muchos volcanes. Los chicos encuentran aguas termales. Akari a lo lejos ve un Digimon, un temible SkullMeramon. Parte del ejército Bagura, SkullMeramon lídera esa zona con Meramon y BlueMeramon.Shoutmon se mide ante Meramon en un choque de poderes, el SkullMeramon ve bastante raro el Xros Leader rojo. Taiki lo usa y forma a Shoutmon x2 para atacar y destruir a varios Meramon. SkullMeramon decide luchar con Shoutmon x2, este es mucho más poderoso y logra que vuelvan a su forma original.
