It's Thanksgiving weekend, 1986, and all across America friends and families are celebrating. On this particular day, Morna Jean Brennen has more than just the holiday to celebrate - she's recently been promoted at her job. She and her best friend go to a local Minnesota bar to toast her new fortune, but when the two get separated, and Morna doesn't return home, her friends and family fear the worst. It's a cold November, and she won't last long against the elements, but the snowy landscape is the least of her worries.
