Gäste treffen auf Wameru ein: Es handelt sich um Jon und Nadja Brocki, ein Forscher-Ehepaar, das einen Film über die afrikanische Vogelwelt drehen will. Als sie in den Busch fahren, um ihr Projekt in Angriff zu nehmen, werden sie von der kleinen Jenny und der Schimpansin Judy begleitet.
Judy’s life is endangered when momentary greed overcomes a husband and wife team distinguished for their motion picture documentaries on African wildlife. Judy stumbles onto a cave filled with rare and ancient artifacts, and when the photographers see her discovery, they devise a “get rich quick” plan which includes a publicized expedition to the cave. As they make their escape, a landslide seals Judy inside, but the two decide that her silence will increase the fame which they have spent a lifetime seeking.
Deux photographes/metteurs en scène, le couple Brocki, arrivent à Waméru. Sur le chemin qui mène à la réserve, ils se croient menacés par Clarence sur lequel ils tirent sans le toucher. Marsh et Paula les complimentent pour leurs films animaliers, mais le couple avoue travailler de façon philanthropique, car leurs métrages ne leur rapportent guère. La petite Jenny et Paula demandent à suivre les Brocki durant leurs prises de vue.
