Grissom er stadig i gang med efterforskningen på en ældre rockstjerne, som er blevet fundet myrdet i sit køkken. Catherine finder ud af, at hun selv og hendes familie er i fare, da nogen tilsyneladende har planer om at skade dem.

Während einer Vorstellung des Cirque du Soleil wird eine Frauenleiche von den Dachsparren aus auf die Bühne geworfen. Dem Showmanagement ist das Opfer unbekannt. Es gehörte weder zu den Künstlern noch zur Crew. Inzwischen gibt Catherines Vater eine große Party, auf der Robert O'Brien mit einer Waffe in der Hand tot aufgefunden wird. Alles deutete auf Selbstmord hin. Am Ende eines harten Arbeitstages nimmt Catherine einen Drink in einer Bar. Das böse Erwachen folgt am nächsten Tag.

Grissom investigates the murder of an aging rockstar who is found dead in his kitchen with an exact replica of the crime scene on the counter next to him. Catherine probes her own abduction and learns that someone may be targeting her family.

Il cantante Izzy Delancy, vecchia gloria del rock, viene trovato morto in cucina. Chi lo ha ucciso ha anche lasciato sul posto un piccolo modellino che riproduce perfettamente la scena del crimine in ogni suo dettaglio. Per ricreare le macchie di sangue, l'assassino ha utilizzato il vero sangue della vittima. Catherine cerca intanto di capire chi ha preso di mira lei e la sua famiglia. Catherine acude a Sara en busca de ayuda y de discreción para esclarecer si ha sido víctima o no una agresión sexual (ya que previamente la habían drogado) sin que trascienda dentro del laboratorio, algo que le resultará imposible cuando el coche en el que viajan ella y su hija sea embestido por otro y Lindsey acabe secuestrada. Paralelamente, Grissom, ahora con Greg, investigará el caso de la extraña miniatura sobre el famoso roquero que quedó pendiente en el episodio previo.
