Misae prepares mushroom soup but while having it, Shin-chan begins to play with the food and ends up troubling his mother.
Shin-chan and his friends fly kites, but as the strings entangle, they take Hiroshi's help to sort it out.
Shin-chan goes out with his father and makes a huge snowman. Later, Shin-chan dresses the snowman with Misae's clothes.
La familia Nohara celebran el Año Nuevo. Shin chan hace un elefante en la pilila con los pastelitos de arroz y la familia empieza el Año Nuevo enfadada. Shin chan y compañía juegan con sus cometas. Hiroshi les ayuda con los cometas y se queda embobado con los cometas. Al final los niños lo dejan atrás con los cometas. Shin chan y Hiroshi hacen un muñeco de nieve que visten con la ropa de Misae. Al final, Misae se enfada con ellos.
