Nicky keeps asking about Martin. Gail tells Martin they are finished and to collect his things but when he turns up at the house Nicky appears wanting him to read him a story. Martin refuses to accompany Jenny to see her solicitor and Martin and Gail make up. Curly has difficulty in finding digs, so he reveals to Vera the subterfuge had had to resort to in order for her to keep her job and Liz gets a cool reception from Audrey.
