Mavis is evasive to Rita over what he's doing and becomes extremely embarrassed when Derek forces Rita to stock his novelties at the Kabin. Audrey puts pressure on Alf to get Bet out the flat and Nigel calls at the Rovers on a survey. He tells Alec he knows all about his marital problems and is surprised to see Megan flaunt herself around in front of him. Alec fears that Bet has shopped him to the brewery and swears vengeance. Gail is pleased when mike gives her advice over a partnership in the café. Mike impresses Alma when he tells Gail she'd be a fool not to buy into the café.
