車の運転ができる爽太も誘い、颯、瞬、蒼真と、貴之、元晴が海にやって来た。泳ぐ気満々の瞬やビーチで酒を飲むことが楽しみな元晴と爽太など、それぞれが自由に海での休日を楽しむ中、荷物番をすることになった貴之はひとり静かに時間を過ごす。いつも気づけば終わっていく夏を今年もただ消費していくと思っていた貴之だったが、蒼真よりデザインした音楽ＣＤのジャケットについて相談を受ける。

Souta, Hayate, Shun, Souma, Takayuki, and Motoharu have made their way to the ocean. While Shun is super hyped to swim, Motoharu and Souta are more into drinking on the beach. With everybody free to do whatever they like, Takayuki volunteers to watch their bags and have some quiet time. Takayuki usually only realizes that summer is already over when it's too late, but this year he's actually enjoying it and talks to Souma about a CD cover design that he's working on.
Jedes Jahr aufs Neue zieht der Sommer quasi spurlos an Takayuki vorbei und wäre es nicht für seine neuen Freunde, wäre dieses Jahr genau dasselbe passiert. Es ist dieses Feuer, das im Inneren der jungen Menschen brennt, das ihn zum Umdenken bringt.
