It's raining. Hayate forgot his newly purchased plastic umbrella at the bookstore. Luckily, Souma runs into him and they both go back to the bookstore to look for it. Once there, Hayate bumps into Takayuki and they realize that they both like the same author. But being too excited about the conversation, Hayate forgets his original mission and leaves without the umbrella. When he rushes back in from the outside, a certain person hands him his umbrella, but for some reason, he's also carrying a shoe horn...
Hayate würde noch seinen Kopf vergessen, wenn er nicht angewachsen wäre. Zum Glück ist er das aber und was er vermisst – an einem regnerischen Tag – ist nur der Schirm, den er vorhin noch in der Hand hatte.
السّماء تمطر وهاياتي نسي مظلّته التي اشتراها مؤخّراً في المكتبة. لحسن الحظّ، يصادف سوما ويعودان معاً إلى المكتبة للبحث عنها. حالما يصلان إلى هناك، هاياتي يصطدم بتاكايوكي ويدركان بأنّ كليهما يحبّان نفس المؤلّف.
Идёт дождь. Хаяте забыл свой новенький пластиковый зонт в книжном магазине. К счастью, Сома встречает его, и они оба возвращаются в магазин, чтобы его найти. Когда они приходят, Хаяте сталкивается с Такаюки, и они понимают, что оба любят одного и того же автора. Но, слишком увлекшись разговором, Хаяте забывает о своей первоначальной задаче и уходит без зонта. Когда он вбегает обратно с улицы, некий человек передаёт ему его зонт, но по какой-то причине у него также есть обувной рожок...
