今年もあと一日。家族全員で家の大掃除をするのだが、まる子とお父さん、おじいちゃんは掃除しているフリだけで、出てきたゴミで遊んでばかり。何とか部屋を片付け、あとは今年の最後の夜を告げる除夜の鐘を聞き、新年にそなえるだけとなった。
Only one day remains in the year. The whole family is cleaning the house from top to bottom, though Maruko, Dad, and Grandpa mostly just pretend to clean while actually playing with the junk they find. Somehow the rooms finally get tidied up, and all that’s left is to listen for the temple bells ringing out the old year and welcome the new one.
