その日の朝、まる子はなぜかいつもよりずっと早く目が覚めてしまった。変な胸騒ぎがしたので両親の部屋へ行ってみると、お父さんとお母さんがケンカをしていて大変なことになっていた。まる子とお姉ちゃんは離ればなれになる覚悟をしていた。
That morning, for some reason, Maruko wakes up much earlier than usual. With a strange feeling in her chest, she goes to her parents’ room—only to find them in the middle of a serious argument. Maruko and her sister begin preparing themselves for the awful possibility of being separated.
