第40話 「男子対女子 大戦争」の巻

The boys are obsessed with collectible cards that come as snacks prizes. But some of them get so carried away that they take the cards and throw away the snacks. When Maruko sees the boys doing this, she reports it to the teacher at the class meeting. Needless to say, the boys are not pleased, and before long the matter escalates into a boys-vs.-girls showdown after school on Mole Hill.

男の子たちはスナックに付くおまけのカード集めに夢中だ。ところがそのカード集めに熱中するあまり、おまけのカードだけを抜いてスナックを捨ててしまう子供が続出。クラスの男の子たちがスナックを捨てているのを見たまる子は、それを学級会で先生に報告する。おもしろくない男の子たちと女の子たちとで放課後のもぐら山で男子対女子の決闘となった。
