The fight between Nnoitra and Ichigo gets more desperate as Nnoitra is about to crush Nel's head. Ichigo saves her, but Nnoitra brutally throws Ichigo out of the way each time he attempts to stop him. Nnoitra's moves get more aggressive until he begins to break Ichigo's arm. The intensity of Nel's emotions unleash an unintentional transformation to her original adult form. Nel then reveals that she has the rank of the former 3rd Espada- Neliel tu Oderschvank-, and begins to overpower Nnoitra. Nnoitra, however, is not easily defeated, even surviving Nel's powerful Cero Doble technique, and reveals that while Neliel once outranked him, the Espada have grown more powerful in her absence.
Ichigo non crede al fatto che Nel li abbia sempre ingannati e prosegue lo scontro con Nnoitra. In un momento di estrema difficoltà del ragazzo, Nel si dispera e ritorna alla sua forma da adulta, riacquistando i propri ricordi.
Ичиго продолжает сражение с Нноитрой и терпит от него поражение. Нноитра рассказывает что именно он выгнал Нелл из Эспады, при этом он изменил её внешность и стер её память. Нноитра хочет убить Нелл, но Ичиго пытается отбить его атаки. Нноитра готов убить Ичиго, но Нелл, возвратившийся в свою настоящую форму, отбивает атаку и начинает сражение с Нноитрой.
Después de encontrar a Nel escondida en la sombra de una roca, Nnoitora cuenta a Ichigo que el grupo de Nel eran antiguos Espada.
岩陰に隠れていたネルを見つけたノイトラは、一護たちにネルの正体が元エスパーダのネリエルだと話す。彼女がラス・ノーチェスの奥に入りこむため一護たちをだましていると言うが、ネルを信じる一護は意に介さない。
