Everyone is training to achieve stronger power for the upcoming Winter War. Rukia & Orihime are training there powers, Matsumoto & Yumichika are training for bankai, Renji is training to make Chad stronger and Ichigo is training his Vizard powers. In the midst of all this training, a group of Espada power level Arrancars attack the real world. They are Yammy, Luppi, Wonderwice and Grimmjow, which is run by Ulquiorra. They start there attack on Hitsugaya's group. Meanwhile, Rukia and Orihime try to get to real world. And Ichigo goes looking for Grimmjow. And Urahara goes to the battlefield.
Grâce au Hogyôku, Aizen libère la puissance d'un nouvel arrancar : Wonderwice Margera. Yammy lance une nouvelle offensive sur Karakura accompagné de Grimmjow déchu de son titre de Sexto Espada, de Luppi nouveau Sexto Espada et de Wonderwice qui semble être atteint d'une grande déficience mentale. Alors que Grimmjow part chercher Ichigo, Luppi fait la démonstration de ses pouvoirs.
Ichigo cerca di allenarsi per diventare ancora più forte. Così come Inoue e Rukia che continuano ad esercitarsi insieme per la battaglia che verrà.
Solo quedan unos meses para el enfrentamiento final con los Arrancars. Ichigo continúa entrenando con los Vizards, pero la cantidad de tiempo que puede permanecer como Hollow no ha aumentado mucho. En la Sociedad de Almas, Rukia y Orihime también han estado pasando por un riguroso entrenamiento. Ukitake las observa feliz y agradecido porque Rukia al fin tiene amigos.
破面との決戦まで残り数カ月。一護はヴァイザードの平子たちと特訓を続けていたが、なかなか「ホロウ化保持時間」が延びない。これまででやっと10秒の壁を越えた一護に対し、平子は残された時間の少なさを感じる。
