バントマンたちの前で「13番目のプロ野球球団を目指す」と宣言した社長の櫻田（坂東彌十郎）。監督は華（倉科カナ）にお願いしたいと言い、さらに主力として大翔（鈴木伸之）を迎え入れたいとオファーする。
しかし大翔の口から出たのは「一度、考えさせてほしい」というまさかの保留回答だった。なぜオファーを受けなかったのだろうと皆が訝しむ中、大翔は一旦名古屋に帰ることに。
ホームランバッターから戦力外、そしてバントマンを経験した大翔が最後に選ぶのは、果たしてどんな未来なのか？
President Sakurada (Bando Yajuro) declares in front of the bunt players that "we aim to become the 13th professional baseball team." The manager says he would like to ask Hana (Kurashina Kana) to take over, and then offers to welcome Hiroto (Suzuki Nobuyuki) as a key player. However, Hiroto gives an unexpected deferred answer, saying, "Let me think about it for a while." While everyone is wondering why he didn't accept the offer, Hiroto decides to return to Nagoya for the time being. What kind of future will Hiroto, who has experienced being a home run hitter, being released from the team, and then being a bunt player, choose in the end?
