ある日、作戦室に一人の中学生が訪ねてくる。それは藤堂（平原テツ）の娘、絢音（住田萌乃）だった。
社員を陰から支えるというバントマンの役割について、「こんなのが仕事なの？」と噛みつく絢音。そんな絢音に言い返すどころか目を合わせることすらできない藤堂。
実は藤堂は浮気が原因で離婚しており、絢音を引き取った元妻が近々再婚するという。両親の離婚を経験している華（倉科カナ）は藤堂に絢音と向きあうよう説得するが…。煮え切らない藤堂の様子に、ついに大翔（鈴木伸之）の感情が爆発する。
One day, a junior high school student visits the strategy room. It is Toudou's (Hirahara Tetsu) daughter, Ayane (Sumita Moeno). Ayane snaps at him, asking, "Is this really your job?" about the role of a buntman, who supports employees from behind the scenes. Toudou can't even look Ayane in the eye, let alone argue back. In fact, Toudou got divorced due to infidelity, and his ex-wife, who took in Ayane, is planning to remarry soon. Hana (Kurashina Kana), whose parents have been divorced, persuades Toudou to face Ayane, but... Seeing Toudou's indecisive behavior, Hiroto (Suzuki Nobuyuki) finally explodes with emotion.
