華（倉科カナ）の母・霞（熊谷真実）は、華に手伝ってもらうことを前提に定食屋再開の話を進めていた。
「今の会社で働き続けるより、手に職をつけたほうが華のためになると思うの」と強引な霞に言い返すことすらできない華。実は「華のためになる…」という霞の悪気のない一言が、子どもの頃から華を縛ってきたのだった。
そんな様子を感じ取った大翔（鈴木伸之）は、社長の櫻田（坂東彌十郎）とともに行動を開始する。
Hana's (Kurashina Kana) mother, Kasumi (Kumagaya Mami), was planning to reopen the diner on the condition that Hana help her. "I think it would be better for you to learn a trade than to continue working at your current company," Kasumi said forcefully, but Hana couldn't even argue back. In fact, Kasumi's innocent words, "It'll be better for you," had been holding Hana back since she was a child. Sensing this, Hiroto (Suzuki Nobuyuki) begins to take action together with the company president, Sakurada (Bando Yajuro).
