Herrn Spitzohr, einem feinen Eichhorn, hat man die Vorratskammer geplündert. Natürlich gerät der "Landstreicher" Puschel sofort in Verdacht. Tante Lilly und sein Feind Felix schüren die Wut der anderen. Da gelingt es Puschel, die wahren Diebe zu finden. Die zwei kleinen Mäuse Non und Nen müssen sich nun vor der Versammlung rechtfertigen, die das alte Eichhorn Graubart einberufen hat.
