Lily asks Lucinda to use her political pull to keep the INS away from Simon. Lucinda blames Simon for the problems the Snyders are having and reveals she is the one who originally alerted the INS about Simon. Lily declares she'll go to Australia with Simon and take the kids with her, but Lucinda calls her bluff. Lily warns Lucinda that their relationship is in jeopardy if Lucinda doesn't help out Simon and storms out. Katie tells Simon that he should marry her so he won't be deported. Simon refuses, but Katie insists she's not expecting a "real" marriage. Katie claims she's not in love with him and isn't bothered by the fact that Simon's heart belongs to Lily. Simon tries to tell Katie that he has nothing to offer her, but she insists she wants to help out a friend. Simon rejects the idea and she gives up for the moment. When Simon agrees to let Katie stay in the car until she can figure out her next step, she lets him know that she wouldn't mind an encore of their night together. Craig asks Carly if she knows what brought Lowe back into her life. Carly reveals Winston told her that someone tipped him off that she was in Oakdale. Carly vows she will get whoever is responsible for breaking up her and Jack. Craig decides not to show Carly the photo of Lowe and Julia. Jennifer, horrified that Barbara discussed her love life with Craig, tears into her mother. Hal defends Barbara's actions and Barbara apologizes. The threesome reaches a truce. Hal and Barbara reach an understanding as well, and it seems their marriage is finally back on track. Craig calls and convinces a reluctant Barbara to meet him at the Lakeview to discuss Julia. Meanwhile, a determined Carly searches Craig's apartment for the envelope addressed to Jack.
