Diverging from a simple ""Western Path,"" we discuss Central and South American art in its early 20th-century intersections with Euro-American Modernism and the differing visions of art from different parts of the Americas. We also look to Russia and the East and the complicated pathway politics has forced on Russo-Soviet art and its aftermath.
