America has given birth to a new breed of super fit pensioners. The seniors living in Sun City Center in Florida are doing everything they can to fight off old age. But what happens when you send four young unfit and unhealthy Brits to live with some of the fittest pensioners in the world? 21-year-old fried chicken addict Kevin Jay, 22-year-old lazy part time mum Caroline Miller, 18-year-old authority-hating smoker Jacqualine Oliver and 21-year-old body-conscious pizza-scoffing Sean Ryan are about to have their worlds turned upside down. For a week they will be staying with super fit 71-year-old Rolande Poulin and her 61-year-old husband Bert, and 69-year-old ex-NYPD cop Bruce Anderson and his 66-year-old wife Joan. All four hosts might be in their retirement years, but they are in peak condition. From marathon running to daily gym workouts, they are all looking forward to whipping the lazy young Brits into shape. In a life changing week, the Brits are forced to quit their usual lazy lifestyles and exercise to the max. They swap fast food for healthy eating and are pushed to their physical and emotional limits. At the end of the week, they do battle against four golden oldies in a quadrathlon, to find out if they really are fitter than a pensioner. How will junk food addict Kevin cope with healthy eating? Can lazy Caroline change her ways for her three-year-old son? And how will the young Brits fare in the final competition? Will they race to victory - or face defeat at the hands of the super fit seniors?

American old age has undergone a facelift. For the pensioners of adult active retirement community Sun City Arizona, frail and weak is so last century. These super-fit seniors are doing everything they can to fight off old age. But what happens when you send four young unfit, unhealthy Brits to live with some of the fittest pensioners in the world? 19-year-old lager-swilling mummy's boy Frazer Danbury, 21-year-old tanaholic student Judy Lockhart, 18-year-old overweight smoker Louise Crossland and 22-year-old out-of-shape computer gamer Ali Yildirim are about to meet their fate. They don't know it yet, but for the next week they will be staying with 76-year-old Norb Matelski and his 60-year-old wife Mari, and 71-year-old Sharon Billeter and her octogenarian boyfriend Tom Rigley. All four hosts might be in their retirement years, but they are in peak condition. Spending hours a day in the gym and pool, they are looking forward to whipping the lazy young Brits into shape. Over a life-changing week, the Brits are forced to bin the burgers and fries, adopt the pensioners' extreme fitness regime and be pushed to their emotional and physical limits. And at the end of the week they compete in a swimming competition against Sun City's champion swimming team - to try and prove they're fitter than a pensioner. Will overweight Louise overcome her low self-confidence? Can Judy put her swimming strop behind her for the team? And how will the young Brits fare in the final competition? Will they swim themselves to victory - or face defeat at the hands of the super-fit seniors?

America has given birth to a new breed of super-fit pensioner. In Oakmont Village, California, the senior residents are doing everything they can to live long and healthy lives. What happens when four young, unfit and unhealthy Brits are sent to live with some of the fittest pensioners in the world? 25-year-old lazy Welsh socialite Ashlei Swain, 20-year-old bone-idle punk student Jennifer Lovell, 22-year-old fried food lover Nicole Pereira and 18-year-old chain smoker Ben Katchi are about to meet their fate. For a week they must stay with 68-year-old Bev Levy and her 71-year-old husband Ron, and 77-year-olds Carol and Jim Cotton. The hosts might be in their retirement years but all four are fitness fanatics. From competitive swimming to yoga and daily gym workouts, they look forward to whipping the young Brits into shape. In a life-changing week, the Brits are forced to quit their usual lazy lifestyles and exercise to the max. They swap burgers and sweeties for a healthy diet and are pushed to their physical and emotional limits. At the end of the week they face the ultimate battle of the ages when they take on four golden oldies in a cycling relay race, to find out if they really are fitter than a pensioner. Can stroppy rebel Ashlei conform to the strict regime? Is punk rocker Jen able to conquer her fear of exercise? And how do the Brits fare in the big race - are they victorious or do they suffer defeat at the hands of super-fit pensioners?
