太平（楽駆）のバーでのメキシカンフェス当日。渾身のメキシカン風春巻きを来場者に振る舞う鮎美（夏帆）をまぶしく見ていた勝男（竹内涼真）は、椿（中条あやみ）の後押しもあり、鮎美に自分の思いを打ち明ようとするが…。一方、鮎美は付き合っていた頃とは明らかに変わった勝男に触れ、勝男との関係についてぼんやりと考え始める。そんな中、フェスの春巻きを食べた有名フードプロデューサーから鮎美に「一緒に店を出そう」との誘いが舞い込み…。
その頃勝男もまた職場で、新規案件のプロジェクトリーダーに任命されていた。しかし、タッグを組むことになった事業戦略部の柳沢（濱尾ノリタカ）は仕事よりプライベート優先で、真っすぐ泥臭く仕事に取り組む勝男と、仕事のスタンスの違いから衝突してしまう。そして、思い悩む勝男を見た鮎美は、ある提案をするが…。
At Taihei’s bar’s Mexican festival, Katsuo watches Ayumi shine as she serves her signature Mexican-style spring rolls. Encouraged by Tsubaki, he tries to confess his feelings, but things don’t go as planned. Meanwhile, seeing how much Katsuo has changed, Ayumi begins to reconsider their relationship. When a well-known food producer offers her the chance to open a restaurant together, her future takes an unexpected turn.
At the same time, Katsuo is appointed project leader for a new initiative at work, but clashes with Yanagisawa from the strategy team, whose laid-back attitude conflicts with Katsuo’s earnest approach. As Katsuo struggles with both work and his feelings, Ayumi offers him an unexpected suggestion.
