Akira invited Haruka to the summer festival. They got along only for a moment. Their suppressed feelings collide, and they get into a fight. On the other hand, Kondo meets Chihiro for the first time in 10 years, and they reminisce about how they always used to write novels in college. Kondo faced his friend. Akira turned her back on her friend. The two carrying different pain, meet at Garden.
Au festival d'été, l’amitié entre Akira et Haruka semble avoir repris là où elle s'était arrêtée. Mais des sentiments refoulés surgissent et une dispute éclate. Kondo revoit Chihiro pour la 1re fois depuis 10 ans. Les deux amis se remémorent l'université, quand ils écrivaient des romans. Si Kondo a réussi à affronter son ami, Akira, elle, a tourné le dos à la sienne. Ils se retrouvent au Garden.

橘鼓起勇氣邀請了遙一起參加夏日祭，在夏日祭上的她們卻從一開始的欣喜變得拘謹不已，最終以吵架而慘淡收場。同樣參加了夏日祭的近藤也見到了自己許久沒見的朋友千尋，兩人的碰面使得近藤憶起了自己曾經的年少時光。
