Ein Sturm hat die alte Windmühle beschädigt. Noël soll sie reparieren. Niklaas beobachtet und zeichnet ihn dabei. Als sich die Mühle wieder in Bewegung setzt, sieht Niklaas Hanses Sohn Andras auf einem der Flügel herumturnen. Geistesgegenwärtig greift er ein.
A storm has damaged the old windmill. Noël is supposed to repair it. Nello observes and draws him as he does so. When the mill starts moving again, Nello sees Hanse's son, Andras, tumbling around on one of the wings. Quick-witted, he intervenes.
Una tormenta se ha desatado durante la noche, y ahora el viejo molino de viento, que se dice fue construido en tiempos de Napoleón, está fuera de servicio. El casero de Jehan, Hanse, va a buscar a Noel, un viejo excéntrico experto en reparar molinos de viento. Noel deleita a Nicolás y Aroa tocando su flauta para ellos en el prado antes de que Hanse lo encuentre.
ネロの村には、ナポレオンの時代から回り続けているという古い風車があった。嵐のために風車が回らなくなり、困ったアロアの父・コゼツは、修理のため、変わり者だが名職人のノエルじいさんを雇う。ネロはノエルじいさんの人柄に心引かれ、ずっとその仕事を見学する。ところが修理が無事終わり、風車が動き始めた時……風車の羽根に捕まって遊んでいたアンドレが……!!
