After the dismantling of the drug importing chain in the port of Antwerp, the war between drug criminals breaks out in Brabant. Peter Haag, public prosecutor in Brabant, and Jos Segers, camp resident and drug dealer, in collaboration with Petra Bijens and her Flemish police units, set up a deal to get Gideon Bas, big contractor and an XTC criminal. But Gideon does not let himself get so easily.
Jara Terwijde, daughter of Peter Haag and a detective in Amsterdam, returns to Brabant to prove the innocence of her father. Rens Segers, son of Jos who had fled his criminal family, is called home by his mother in order to save the family honour. Jara and Rens end up in the middle of the drug war between the Segers family and the Gideon troops.
Rens leaves for Spain to set up a new drug line for Gideon. Sev, who is being blackmailed by Petra, is desperate for money. Jara gets a visit from an unexpected informant: Torre. He gives her her father's laptop, on which Jara finds disconcerting information.
Rens organizes a drug line for Gideon from Spain, but his family is out for revenge. A distraught Sev kidnaps Petra with the intention of killing her in the forest. Jara manages to bring her informant Torre, with the help of childhood friend Björn, to safety at a hiding address. Suddenly, armed men appear at the door.
Petra may resume her service with the police, but she is not out of debt yet. Rens has become Gideon's confidential advisor. But when they start off with a load of drugs, his own family is ready for an attack. Jara investigates Torre's true identity and discovers her father's things in his house, such as a video recording of his last minutes.
