天野アイ（西野七瀬）が失踪し、アイへの好意に気づいた弄内翔（野村周平）の元に、大宮リカ（大友花恋）から動画が届く。その動画には、翔がデザインしたアニメと実写のアイがミックスされたもので、すでに“謎のアイドル”としてバズり始めていた。古矢智章（清水尋也）が売った翔たちのアニメの素材を使い、プロデューサーの清水浩司（村上淳）が仕掛けたのだ。清水の元にアイがいると分かった翔は、「アイを取り戻したい」一心で、そのまま清水のスタジオへと走り出す。
翔は清水に「アイを返してくれ」と訴えるが、ひるむ様子はない。しかもスタジオにいたアイは、翔のことを全く覚えていなかった。ショックを受ける翔に、清水は衝撃の言葉を放つ。「アイは俺のビデオガールになったんだ――」。果たして翔は、アイを取り戻せるのか！？
そんな中、翔と好意を寄せるリカ、関係が思うように進まない恋人同士の奈々美と智章、それぞれにも転機が訪れ始める……。
