Deux frères sont en froid depuis le drame qui a divisé leur famille il y a 15 ans : un terrible accident ayant occasionné la mort de leur père et d'une quinzaine de mineurs dans une mine fermée depuis lors. L'un flic, l'autre gendarme, vont être amenés à collaborer pour résoudre une nouvelle affaire de meurtre d'un de leur ami, fils de mineur. L'enquête en cours va revisiter l'histoire d'une région et déterrer les secrets liés au drame du passé.

Two brothers have been at loggerheads since the tragedy that divided their family 15 years ago: a terrible accident that caused the death of their father and about fifteen miners in a mine that has since closed. One is a cop, the other a gendarme, will be brought together to solve a new case of murder of one of their friends, the son of a miner.
