Charles 'Bud' Tingwell

Charles William Tingwell AM, known professionally as Charles 'Bud' Tingwell, was one of the veterans of Australian film, acting in his first motion picture in 1946, and went on to appear in more than 100 films and numerous TV programs in both the United Kingdom and Australia. He was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 1999 Queen's Birthday Honours List for his services to the performing arts as an actor, director, producer, and to the community.
