Strike Witches (Japanese: ストライクウィッチーズ, Hepburn: Sutoraiku Witchīzu) is a Japanese media mix originally created by Fumikane Shimada via a series of magazine illustration columns. The franchise has since been adapted into several light novel, manga, and anime series and various video games. The series revolves around teenage girls who use machines attached to their legs to do aerial combat. The OVA preview episode was released in January 2007. The televised anime series later aired between July and September 2008. A second season aired between July and September 2010. A film adaptation was released on March 17, 2012, and a three-part OVA series was released between September 2014 and May 2015. A third season aired from October to December 2020. Chibi Maruko-chan is a shōjo manga series by Momoko Sakura, later adapted into an anime TV series by Nippon Animation, which originally aired on Fuji Television from January 7, 1990 to September 27, 1992. The series depicts the simple, everyday life of a little girl nicknamed Maruko and her family in suburban mid-seventies Japan. The series is set in the former city of Shimizu, now part of Shizuoka City, birthplace of its author.

No Longer Human (Japanese: 人間失格, Hepburn: Ningen Shikkaku), also translated as A Shameful Life, is a 1948 novel by Japanese author Osamu Dazai. It tells the story of a troubled man incapable of revealing his true self to others, and who, instead, maintains a facade of hollow jocularity, later turning to a life of alcoholism and drug abuse before his final disappearance. The original title translates as "Disqualified as a human being" or "A failed human". The book was published one month after Dazai's suicide at the age of 38. No Longer Human is considered a classic of postwar Japanese literature and Dazai's masterpiece. It enjoys considerable popularity among younger readers and ranks as the second best-selling novel by publishing house Shinchōsha, behind Sōseki Natsume's Kokoro.
Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel is a Japanese anime film trilogy produced by Ufotable, directed by Tomonori Sudō, written by Akira Hiyama,and featuring music by Yuki Kajiura. The trilogy adapts Heaven's Feel, the third and final route of the Fate/stay night visual novel. It focuses on Shirou Emiya and Sakura Matou who are affected by a conflict between mages known as the Holy Grail War. It is the fourth anime adaptation of Type-Moon's works by Ufotable, following The Garden of Sinners film series, the Fate/Zero television series, and the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works television series and also the fourth anime adaptation of the Fate/stay night visual novel, after Studio Deen's adaptations Fate/stay night, a television series, and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, a movie; and Ufotable's adaptation Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. The trilogy also is the first anime adaptation of the Heaven's Feel route.
