Jumanji

1996

Based on the hit 1995 Robin Williams film, Jumanji told the story of a board game gone horribly, horribly wrong. The cartoon series twisted the film's premise around, but most of the characters remained the same. As in the film, young Peter and Judy Shepherd came to live with their Aunt Nora. Exploring the house, they found in the attic a dusty old board game called Jumanji. Kids will be kids, and soon enough Peter and Judy had the game out and ready for play, little knowing that the game had a life of its own. When they rolled the dice, a rhymed message appeared on the board, and Peter and Judy were sucked inside a strange jungle world. Lost and alone in this frightening new land, Peter and Judy ran across long-haired jungle man Alan Parrish (the Robin Williams character in the film), who had been sucked in by Jumanji many years earlier. The three joined forces, looking for a way out.

The Secret Squirrel Show

1965

Hanna-Barbera's "The Secret Squirrel Show" was a 30-minute cartoon that included three individual segments: "Secret Squirrel," "Squiddly Diddly" and "Winsome Witch." Secret Squirrel was a parody of the spy genre, and most of his cartoons parodied elements of the James Bond films. Secret Squirrel was also known as "Agent 000."

Super Secret Secret Squirrel

1993

A new take on the classic Secret Squirrel series, this incarnation takes Secret and Morocco Mole through a series of adventures fighting villains, ranging from a Queen Bee to a Quark. Secret and Morocco use their gadgets, Secret's skills and Morocco's clumsiness to triumph. This show-within-a-show ran during the series 2 Stupid Dogs. However, even though they shared the same time slot the series were unrelated to each other in theme and topic.

Wacky Races

1968

"Wacky Races" was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon that aired on CBS as part of its Saturday-morning schedule from September 14, 1968, to January 4, 1969, and then reruns the next season. This series revolves around several racers with various themes who are each allowed to use strange gimmicks to compete against other racers in many races across North America as the race announcer (voiced by Dave Willock) talks about the race while interacting with the racers.
