Kiyo realizes that Zofis was implanting illusions of petrification for the thousand-year Mamodos and informs Laila. He tells her the moonstone is also a tool used by Zofis to psychologically control the Mamodos and is used with Zofis' mind-control ability. Laila attempts to leave the moonlight, but she finds her hand turning to stone. She admits she knows it's an illusion and leaves the moonlight. Laila's mind believes she has become petrified and her body becomes petrified. Her mind-controlled partner, Albert sheds a tear, freeing Laila from Zofis' illusion.
