Yugi sucht für Großvater einen Ort zum Ausruhen und stößt dabei auf ein Zeltdorf. Ein kleines Mädchen führt Yugi und seine vier Begleiter zum Dorfältesten, der ihnen die erste Aufgabe zur Bewältigung der fünf Prüfungen stellt: Sie sollen das Flüstern, das den Wüstenwind reitet, zum Schweigen bringen. Sie machen sich auf den Weg und treffen auf gefährliche Sandwürmer. Yugi gelingt es allein in das Auge eines Tornados vorzudringen. Dort begegnet ihm ein unheimliches Wesen, das ihn zum Kampf herausfordert.
As Yugi opens his eyes, the camera pans around to show a desert setting. Joey wonders as to what they're going to do next, Tea saying how standing around won't help, Tristan agreeing. Yugi thinks back to the riddle, wondering what it meant about the 5 tests. Solomon collapses to his knees, but saying he'll be fine. Tea uses Happy Lover's healing ability to help Solomon feel better, though he still feels like he's too old. A flashback occurs, showing the battle between Summoned Skull and Rock Spirit. Tea suggests they find somewhere to rest, and Tristan makes a sarcastic remark. Joey agrees with Tea, running off to find some shade or an oasis, only to slide unexpectedly down a dune. After the others rush to find him, Joey notices a bunch of tents on the horizon.
Al entrar al portal se encuentran con una pequeña aldea. Ahí se encuentran con una niña que les da una pista para la primera prueba. Al adentrarse más al desierto, unos gusanos los atacan y comienza una tormenta de arena. Yugi se Fusiona con uno de sus monstruos gracias a la armadura.
