In New Domino City verschwinden seit dem Bekanntwerden des Turbo-Duell Grand-Prix immer mehr D-Wheels. Jack und Carly versuchen die Diebesbande zu stellen. Doch bei einer Verfolgungsjagd verunglückt ein verdeckter Ermittler schwer. Daraufhin muss sich Jack alleine der Diebesbande und dem Anführer Syd stellen.
Jack and Carly investigate some Duel Runner thefts. While chasing after a group of them, one of the members, who is actually an undercover agent named Kaz, gets injured. Jack feels responsible for causing the accident, and tries to investigate the matter himself, but is ganged up on and knocked out. He doesn't give up, and soon comes across the entire gang again, where he is once again beaten. However, he was able to place a tracker on one of the members, and finds their hideout, which is located on a large ship. The boss, Syd, challenges Jack to a duel in which the loser is thrown into a crusher. Syd gets the upper hand early on, and despite Jack summoning several monsters, he still finds himself countered. It is soon revealed that their hideout is on a tanker, which has sailed out of range from Sector Security. Syd summons his Synchro Monster, but Jack responds by Synchro Summoning a monster he borrowed from Kaz to win the duel, and manages to act in time before Syd is crushed, but beats up Syd and his gang, who are later arrested by Sector Security. Jack returns Kaz's card and promises to Turbo Duel him when he recovers.
Jack et Carly enquêtent sur des vols de Runners. Alors qu'ils poursuivent un groupe de voleurs, un des membres, qui est en fait un agent infiltré tombe et se blesse. Jack se sent responsable d'avoir causé l'accident, et essaie d'enquêter sur cette affaire lui-même, mais il est pris au piège par un groupe de voleurs et reste inconscient après avoir été assommé. Il n'abandonne pas et tombe alors directement sur le gang au complet, où il est une fois de plus battu. Cependant, il a pu placer un marqueur de localisation sur un des membres et arrive donc à trouver leur planque. Le chef, Syd, défie Jack dans un duel dans lequel le perdant est envoyé dans un broyeur. Syd prend au début l'avantage, et en dépit du fait que Jack invoque plusieurs monstres, il est toujours contré. Syd invoque son monstre Synchro, mais Jack lui répond par son propre monstre Synchro pour gagner le duel. Il agit même à temps pour empêcher que Syd ne soit broyé. Jack redonne à l'agent blessé sa carte et lui promet un duel quand il sera guéri.
ワールド・ライディング・デュエル・グランプリの開催が発表されたネオ童実野シティでは、Ｄ・ホイールの需要が増えた為、Ｄ・ホイール盗難の被害が相次いでいた。セキュリティは窃盗団の情報に懸賞金まで掛け厳重に警戒していたが、窃盗団は警戒網を巧妙に逃れていたのだった。
そんな中、ジャックは窃盗団の犯行現場に遭遇、その一人を捕らえるが、実はその男はセキュリティの潜入捜査官であった。自分のミスで潜入捜査官に怪我を負わせてしまったジャックは責任を感じ、一人窃盗団のもとに向かう。だがジャックを待ち構えていたのは窃盗団のワナだった！！
