御堂筋との死闘でフレームにヒビが入った今泉を、後ろからアタックで一気に抜き去っていく真波。フレームの状態から追走は難しいと判断した今泉は、坂道に総北の魂を託す。チームの想いを積んで、驚異的なケイデンスで真波を追いかける坂道だが、ギアを上げて独走する真波に引き離されてしまう。
