يعيش أبو خلف مع أولاده حياة بسيطة دون مشاكل، إلى أن يفاجأ ذات يوم بقتل ابنه خلف لصديق جارته مشاعل دفاعا عنها، فيقرر دفن الجثة لإخفاء معالم الجريمة، ويطلب من ابنه الزواج من مشاعل، ويظل السر دفين حتى يتلقى خلف تهديدات من شخص مجهول، فيصبح سرهم مهدد بالانكشاف.
