Two years on from season one, Caryl Huws still lives in the town of Llanemlyn. She's decided to follow her dream of going back into education to become a journalist. She becomes fascinated with the newly announced expansion of the town's reservoir as she sees it as the story of her people, her town and with Rhys still protesting his innocence, she is compelled to investigate what really happened. It’s the perfect story to land her that dream job with a local paper, and eventually lead us to the truth.
