As a certified fitness trainer, Diane takes pride in motivating her clients to push themselves, yet has trouble following her own advice. As a single girl, looking for Mr. Right, Diane spends a lot of time partying and having fun, which results in unhealthy food choices and too much alcohol. Diane has always struggled with her weight. At age 22 she deliberately gained additional weight so that she could get her stomach stapled in a government-funded initiative. She has lost weight by following low-carb diets in the past, but has never managed to keep the weight off.
