Wrestler

Robert Bédard was a legendary French-Canadian professional wrestler and road agent best known for his historic tenure with the WWF under the name René Goulet. A smooth, highly trusted in-ring veteran, he won the tag team titles in 1971. Goulet became a foundational fixture on televised Madison Square Garden Network broadcasts, first as a reliable competitor and later as one of the prominent suit-and-tie officials who rushed ringside to break up chaotic brawls.
