After mediocre reviews and a sudden medical crisis with the in-house director, Jack Robbins is forced to push forward as the creative director of the Los Angeles Asteria Theater. In an attempt to bring new life to the Asteria and inspire passion for a new generation of theater goers, he boldly undertakes the task of presenting the play 'Hamlet.' In order to do this, he nervously recruits the only friend he trusts will do the role justice, struggling Shakespeare enthusiast, Dan Connors.
