Woofy mène une vie clandestine dans la chambre d'Antoine, son jeune maître. Chien errant, il s'est lié d'amitié avec le garçon qui, pour le faire accepter chez lui, a prétendu avoir gagné cette « peluche » à la kermesse de l'école. Mais pour le chien et son protecteur, il faut jouer serré. La mère d'Antoine, vigilante sur les questions domestiques, est catégorique : pas d'animaux dans la maison !
