Unemployed but not looking for work, Cage and Moon, latter day Likely Lads, find Nancy, a stripper, who's willing to pay the bills and Arch, landlord of the Sun, who's willing for nothing. They stick together by necessity - the necessity to avoid Keith and Alan, two heavies who enjoy their work.
Cage, Moon and Nancy are in their new home, the off-licence of Arch's pub, the Sun. Alan and Keith are still frightening everyone in sight - well, almost everyone ...
Alan and Keith are moving fast. They're taking over the world and casting fierce eyes at The Sun. Only one thing will save old Arch, The Sun and their new home in the offie - business - so Cage, Moon and Nancy arrange a darts match. The opponents are familiar and so is the prize.
Cage and Moon continue to struggle for their own little corner of Wilderness Road as Alan and Keith fight (avoiding the Queensbury Rules) to deny them. Arch looks on as the non-caring captain as Nancy gets one in below the belt and Moon finds the pen mightier than the cordon bleu.
Nancy decides that Cage and Moon should dip their toes into the real world. The result - they both plunge headlong in love and get very wet indeed. It's also the end of Arch's tenure in his unloved Sun, as Keith and Alan's boss finally emerges from the shadows.
Moon blows the dust off his beloved old camera and after a chase through the streets, a very dubious meal and a meaningful chat, finally gets the exposure and framing absolutely right.
