In der Folge „Ursprung“ untersucht der Anthropologe Brian Hare die Anfänge des Hasses in unserer Evolution und seine Ausprägungen in der Gegenwart. Sein Forschungsgegenstand sind unterschiedliche Bonobo- und Schimpansen-Populationen. Ist Hass ein angeborenes Element unseres Menschseins, oder sind wir fähig, zu lernen und den Hass zu überwinden?
