Am 19. Dezember 2016 fuhr der Tunesier Anis Amri mit einem gestohlenen LKW auf den belebten Weihnachtsmarkt an der Gedächtniskirche in der Berliner City. Es war der schlimmste islamistische Anschlag in Deutschland und er ist bis heute nicht vollständig aufgeklärt.
