The Way, Way Back Movie Review by We Watched a Movie! A coming of age story that comes out this July stars Steve Carell, Sam Rockwell, Toni Collette and Liam James and is Written and Directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash in their Directorial debut. "The Way, Way Back" is about Duncan who after his parents divorced is forced to spend his summer at his moms new boyfriend Trent's (Steve Carell) summer house. Duncan is an awkward teenager that hasn't quite figured himself out yet when he is offered a job at a waterpark ran by Owen (Sam Rockwell).
