A young girl in the 1920's with a broken arm is staying at the Hospital until she heals. She meets Roy (Lee Pace), who is paralyzed after a movie stunt gone wrong. He begins to tell her adventurous stories and the two build a friendship when his true motives and the inspiration from his epic stories begin to come into focus, as well as his life.
