Captain America movie review. In honor of "The Avengers" coming out May 5, 2012 we have been reviewing each of the Marvel movies featuring the Avengers! Today we review Captain America: The First Avenger. Directed by Joe Johnston (Honey I shrunk the kids, The Rocketeer) and starring Chris Evans, Tommy Lee Jones, and Hugo Weaving. Captain America is about Steve Rogers, a litte guy with a big heart who wants to join the war effort to fight for his county. Unfortunately his whimpy body and many illnesses (think asthma) keep the Army from accepting him. Until a Super Soldier syrum is developed to make him a war fighting superhero.
